Jim, These photos are a pleasure to see. I have such good fortune to meet you on the way to the Wedmore paper shop. Something good often comes out of it- like advice to get a shingles inoculation. This time I asked what you were doing with the rest of your life. That led you to give me your website. What a jewel. The photos show you are making good use of your time. I look forward to our next encounter. Bill

Hi James had a look at your work , most impressed particularly like your Butterfly shots.
I am heading over to France in early July ( Vendee area. ) can you suggest any areas that would be best for Butterflys.
Many thanks
Ed.

Hi James. You've got some very nice butterfly shots and I'm particularly envious of your Apollo, which I've never yet seen. One day, maybe. ;-)

Thanks for the pointers to Les Lagunes de Gat Mort. Next time I'm in the west of France, I'll try to call in for a visit.

It was great to meet you in the Pyrenees the other day. Many thanks for an eye-opening experience - especially for bringing alive the spectacle of the 13 vultures all thermalling at the same time above the Col du Tourmalet. I've never been a great birdwatcher but that brought a lump to my throat!

Regards to you both.
