Thanks to our friendly campsite owner Mr Jacques Balesta and his old 4x4 I was able to have the unforgettable experience of watching Griffon Vultures feeding on the carcass of a dead Cow at 50 yards.Jacques campsite (Camping le Toussau) is at the foot of the Falaise aux Vautours,Aste-Beon,Pyrénées-Atlantiques .where you can sit in his orchard and watch these magnificent birds circling over head.
